Howdy! Welcome to Flatcat Exotics Cattery, home of the chubbiest cheeks, sweetest purrs, and most lovable Exotic Shorthairs in Texas!
We’re the Hudson family, and our little cattery is tucked away in the friendly town of Van Alstyne, TX. What started as one fluffy companion quickly grew into a full-blown passion for this irresistibly round-faced breed. Now, we get to share that love with families all over the country — one snuggly kitten at a time.

We’ve always had a soft spot for animals, but Exotic Shorthairs completely stole our hearts. Their squishy faces, calm temperaments, and playful personalities make them the perfect companions.
What began as one adorable flat-faced friend turned into a family adventure. Over the years, we’ve learned everything we can about the breed, worked with wonderful mentors, and built our cattery around love, respect, and quality.
Each litter is special to us — every kitten gets daily love, playtime, and plenty of silly nicknames before they ever go to their forever homes.

Our Home Base
We’re located just north of Dallas in Van Alstyne, Texas, surrounded by sunshine, purring, and the occasional tumble of cat toys.
We happily work with families across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and beyond — even helping arrange safe, comfortable transport for our kittens when needed.
